1. 7-Keto Dhea. (3-acetyl-7Oxo DHEA or 7-keto DHEA) is a natural metabolite of dehydroepiandrosterone, this is the hormone produced by your adrenal glands to form testosterone. Unlike DHEA, 7-keto DHEA increases metabolic rate by boosting thyroid hormone production. It also enhances energy production at the mitochondria within your cells. 100 to 200 mg per day, 1 to 3 times per day.

2. Alpha Lipoic Acid - ALA. ALA is an antioxidant that reduces the amount of insulin produced in the body when carbs are eaten which reduces fat storage. 100 to 500 mg daily.

EMG is a scientific method of measuring the level of excitation. This is done by placing electrodes over your body and recording the level of muscle activity induced by an exercise. Nutrition wise, how does chicken compare to other types of meats? I'm assuming it isn't deep fried or covered in some kind of fattening batter and what not -- just plain ole' baked chicken meat or rotissiered, etc. Also, I don't eat the fat or skin on any kind of meats ... any info is appreciated. : )

I drink a lot of Coffee/ White Coffee/ Nescafe to keep me awake; and plus I intend to sleep less eat less = loose weight a lot, and faster, with constant exercising at the gym. Question is, I head people say that by drinking a lot of Coffee/ White Coffee/ Nescafe which contains caffeine, will eventually make me gain more fat? Is this true? Can anyone confirm about this?

ok recently for a couple days i really pigged out, i was camping, and i was eating junk food every hour non stop, really greasy and salty foods. unhealthy. when i got back home i only gained half a pound!! the next day all i had to eat was a bowl of cereal, half a grapfruit, yogurt, lots of water and a small portion of potatos and chicken. and when i checked next morning i had gained a pound! i was quite annoyed. why would this happen??

There is a big problem with obesity especially in the United States. This is great for those companies in the weight loss business. In fact, it is extremely great because they know that you probably wonít make it on your diet but you will have spent some money with them trying. Why is it that most people canít lose weight? It has to do with behavior change. They donít lose weight because they donít change their behavior towards food intake and exercise. Not only is burning excess calories essential to weight loss but reducing food intake as well. Part of losing weight is being able to push yourself away from the table but many cannot do this. They typically donít eat to be filled but stuff themselves. Depending on your situation, sometimes it is even okay to miss a meal.
